brothers and sisters on the planet will agree
that what we need is more equality
everyone does better as the 'Spirit Level' * shows
when the richest and the poorest can be buying the same clothes
sack cloth and ashes though don't do it for me
but the richest need to share their dosh with some humility
all races and religions and genders need to gain
governments around the world should live up to their name
move towards equality far from poverty and fear
its possible each dawn will lead us out of this nadir
