bullies

billy the bully sits on a throne
with only one space he sits there alone
although those beneath him are physically there
this bully's no vision of power to share

he's in every classroom and workplace and street
billy's the one that you don't want to meet
in tim id ation and threats are the norm
for billy to brag himself top of the form

for those who are bullies there's one thing they dread
as sycophants fade no more to be bled
they'll be no compassion to pity their plight
as their deeds of 'success' are seen in new light

and those bullied few who've survived and still write
will rise up with rancour and rejoin the fight
I've met some tossers in my time
and now there's one just up the line.
Bulging ego; an elephant in the room;
as if I might be leaving soon.
I do like elephants but this one's white,
so I'll not be going without a fight,
(nor easily hung out to dry)
I'd like a thick skin but emotions are high.
Anger burns and ice cuts deep
And no one wins except deceit.
Bullies look to cause most pain
 And maximise financial gain
So when the house of cards does tumble
They’ll be no room where they can grumble
Whistles blowing loud and clear
Consequence of little fear
And strong determination
